Having put down its roots in Madison in 1995, Capitol Bank has a story that is closely entwined with that of the local community and people we serve. Throughout its history, Capitol Bank has grown from a few staff members to over 50 today. When we first opened our doors, we had $5 million in capital representing the Bank's total asset base. After the first full year in business, we reported assets of $35.6 million. In 2006, Capitol Bank planted roots in the Verona community with the opening of another office, and as of September 2015, we reported assets of $302 million. Our success and growth over the long term is built on making a difference in the communities in which we live, work, and raise our families.
