About Bond Vet - Park Slope

Bond Vet — Park Slope is a thorough and modern veterinary clinic in the Park Slope neighborhood of South Brooklyn, on5th Avenue between Degraw and St. John’s Place. We are a veterinary clinic for walk-in and urgent care for pets, meaning any symptom that requires timely treatment or attention, whether it’s a wound, diarrhea, a rash, limping, coughing, breathing problems, behavioral changes or other serious symptoms. Our mission at Bond Vet is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better veterinary care. While we specialize in urgent care, we offer all medical services that a primary care clinic does, including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter, mass removals, dental cleanings, and even specialty orthopedic surgeries — you can come to us for immediate care, and we are also happy to be your primary care veterinary clinic. You’ll notice quickly that Bond Vet feels different, and that’s intentional.

In a matter of minutes I was able to book an appointment for my ailing Havanese!! My Lucy had an appointment the same day and was being seen and treated with gentle thorough care for a slipped disc in her spine with great vet and assistant. She is on the mend now I am so happy I found Bond Vet!!!

Excellent, attentive, caring service — and reasonably priced. Only wish I knew about them sooner.

My experience with this is facility was wonderful. I have not used them for full time care as I only saw them as a 2nd opinion and end of life for my baby boy. They were compassionate and caring. My dog suffered from major anxiety every time he went to the vet and he was calm here! Can't tell you how wonderful and peaceful that felt. I can also say that this is one of the cleanest vetinarian facilities I have been to. Absolutely no smell the floor was spotless and plenty of treats! I'm so very grateful for giving my baby boy a peaceful rest. Thank you so much!

Horrible place. Please do not take your pets here. I decided to come with my dog because they were doing a promotion for their visits and they seemed like a very nice place.

When I went in, my dog was having urinary issues and I thought she might have a UTI. They prescribed her medication and a hygienic trim. The person who handed me my dog back at the office said my dog didn’t like the trim and suggested I got a cone for her. I thought that was weird since she’s gotten sanitary trims before at her groomer’s in the past.

After the trim, my dog had a really difficult time walking home and using the bathroom. I carried her and inspected her private area. She had a really bad rash. I emailed the vet office and they said they would let the team know. I never heard from them again.

Three days later, my dogs condition hadn’t started improving so I took her to her normal vet. They said that the medication that was prescribed was not correct for her weight, and that it wouldn’t do much to help her infection. Can you believe that? I’m so happy I went back to her normal vet. Will never go back to Bond Vet again. I guess when you’re a startup clinic, you cut corners.

Don’t get fooled by the nice offices, free treats and first $25 exam. This place is ridiculously overpriced and they are very adept at finding any reason to overcharge for tests and medications. Regular visit is $120, and after a failed evaluation and treatment for my dog, I have to pay $95 for a new visit for the doctor to try to make a better diagnosis. Unbelievable.

My furbaby needed an emergency surgery and he was given an appointment and scheduled for surgery the same day. The entire staff was friendly, informative, understanding, and very knowledgeable. The office was big and clean. I quickly switched my vet needs to their office.

I rarely write reviews but as this is a place that is suppose to care for your pets I think it’s important. I took my healthy dog in to get his annual visit. Dr. Aldridge was incredibly cold and condescending. After barely examining my dog she prescribed him a set of routine annual vaccines and we left. We had to return 2 hours later because my dog couldn’t bend his leg and was screaming in pain. When we returned they attempted to send us home right away saying it was “just sore”. After demanding to speak to a doctor, Dr. Aldridge condescending told us this is normal behavior from getting vaccines. My dog is 4 years old and has had these every year with no issues. I can’t stress enough how terrible this place is. All owners please beware.

To add insult to injury. After rushing us out and insisting that this pain is normal and not from an allergic reaction, my dogs face is now completely swollen.
