I went in for an oil change and they said I needed $1,200 worth of work done on top of the oil change when none of it was needed. They will scam you.

They overprice all there parts I should have just fixed my truck myself it would have been way less expensive would not go back there for sure

These guys went out of their way to meticulously work on a problem my car had that no other Mercedes “expert” would touch.

My ac had been gradually declining in performance and in Florida you can’t have a car with sub par performance.

Mike tackled every single issue the car threw at him with precision.

As you will see from the pics the car was taken apart and the ac system had major issues from blend doors to clogged ac lines to broken vent doors and bad evaporator.

The result was the coldest ac I have ever felt in this car. 49* to be exact

And in one past second it happened to me. A distracted driver smashed into the back of my truck. I asked my insurance guy for recommendations. After checking out these companies I didn't feel comfortable taking my "investment for dependability" to them.
Then I learned that Mike does auto body as well as being a mechanic. Boca Tech looked good online as well.
Now with satisfying compliments, my tuck looks better than before the accident. But this review doesn't end here.
In a passing conversation I'd mentioned how I had trouble with my gas gauge and would sometimes run out of gas. A little while after I got my truck back, I realized he fixed it. That wasn't even part of the deal!
In my personal line of work, my costumers pay for what they expect. I do my best to go above and beyond contracted expectations. This work ethic ensures my next customer's satisfaction. So without knowing it, Mike and Elly treated me with the same work ethic.
That one second turned out to be fortunate because I've been back to Boca Tech, with other issues, having both pride and confidence that MY mechanic will fix it.

This is the place you take your car when you want top notch service and talent working on your car at a reasonable price.

Update: I think the reviewer Kim must have been at a different shop. Countless interactions with Ellie and only once did I see him lose his cool, but that's just because the air conditioning was not working that day.

Great work by these guys! I have been taking my car here since I moved to Boca in 2016. They are very knowledgable about all cars. Always get a fair price and the work is done quickly! I wouldn't take my Mini anywhere else! Thanks Ellie and Mike!

My wife and I have been using Ellie & Mike at Boca Auto Tech for a couple of years now. If you're looking for a "go-to" mechanic you can trust, this is the place. If you want an actual explanation of the mechanics of an issue your car is experiencing (an explanation a layperson can understand), this is the place to get it. If you want a fair price -- not cheap, not expensive - this is the place. The next time I'm asked if I know a decent car mechanic, who can actually be trusted, I won't hesitate to recommend these guys.
