About Applied Asset Management

Michael J. Kowal is a financial advisor and the founder of Applied Asset Management. He has been helping families for the past 15 years and focuses his practice on financial planning for individuals and families. He offers his clients a wide range of services, including portfolio management, estate and tax planning, insurance and retirement cash flow strategies.

Michael became a financial advisor with the goal of helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate the complexities of investing and financial planning. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, as well as health, life, property, and casualty insurance licenses. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. At the age of 20 while still in college, he served as the Vice President of Investments for the university's credit union.
