About Allison Rowland Jackson, PA

Allison is a native of Baton Rouge, La. She received a bachelors of science degree from Louisiana State University in Kinesiology. She completed her degree as a physician assistant at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport in 1999. She practiced in Shreveport in Internal Medicine and was the clinical coordinator and an instructor for LSU Health Science Physician Assistant Program until relocating back to Baton Rouge. She has practiced in emergency medicine and cardiology since returning to Baton Rouge. Allison knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. She chose to become a physician assistant to provide increased access to personalized health care.
