About Active Excursions, LLC

Active Excursions was founded as a way to get people more involved with an active outdoor lifestyle. Our goal is to organize and run events and trips that enable our participants to connect with nature, see places they have always wanted to see, and meet like-minded people. We hope that our participants will continue to be inspired to make choices that support a healthy lifestyle, protect the environment, and make a difference in their communities.

Active Excursions has planned trips to some of the most scenic, historic, and fun locations in the Baltimore / Washington, DC area. Our participants will hike the Appalachian Trail, see the Chesapeake Bay up close, explore Shenandoah National Park, see an organic local winery and have a chance to visit many off- the- radar places that will take their breath away.

After each activity, the group will have a chance to dine at some of the best restaurants in the area that promote healthy eating, local produce, and environmentally responsible actions. Each meal will feature a speaker who will share expertise on cutting- edge natural health and wellness knowledge, green initiatives, and important environmental topics.
