10-4 Tow of San Rafael

Great service

Reserved a tow the day ahead, quoted $165. Truck Didn’t show up the next day by end of the arrival window, so I called and they sent a guy who got there 30 min after the window. All of this, no big deal honestly until I see I was charged $295 for the tow. Called to sort it out and they said a Manager would look at the details and call back. Shocker: they never called. Won’t ever use again or recommend to anyone. Being late happens, but Charge people the quoted price. Fix this and I’ll fix the review.

Expensive, but fast and safe.

10-4 Towing was late to and had to reschedule multiple (4!) times, due to flat tires and breakdowns with their own vehicles. I also had to call them each time they were over an hour late for their scheduled arrival time. The only reason I am rating them as 3 stars is because they "waived" the $50 cancellation charge, so I was not out-of-pocket for losing half of my day waiting for no-show/no-call, over and over again. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I needed a flat tire changed on my pickup truck. I told them there wasn't a rush but they stayed in contact with eta info, as they were very busy. When Dave arrived he went right to work, but it was hard to remove the lug nuts around the tire and drop down the spare under the old truck. He was calm and patient, with a friendly demeanor even in the cold rain. I appreciate the service they provided and highly recommend.

Late arrival after 2 ETA's, one attempt from driver to reach me, company didn't know what the status was when I called back, no further communication from them. Called them 4 hours later & was told the car had been delivered to my mechanic. No, it hadn't. Got cut off after 20 minutes on hold when they were trying to figure it out. Called them 2 hours later, was told the car had never been picked up. What?? Note to self -- do ever not use this company again!

A+ experience. Very helpful and friendly on the phone, fast arrival, good quality equipment, reasonable price. My driver Kevin was a real pro and made the process painless. I will use them again if I ever need a tow!
