"Maybe the food used to be good? Now it's tolerable at best - couldn't eat it all. To top off a disappointing meal, the owner/manager (whatever) became horribly offensive - used vulgar language and told our group to pay and leave. We are a group of mature women, and were celebrating the birthday of a senior citizen. We weren't being anything but nice, quiet, and enjoying each others' company. End result, law enforcement was summoned by this man, we paid, and left.
Now, for a little more detail - we are a group of sign language students. The senior citizen celebrating her birthday is deaf. So, I know for a fact that this restaurant owner cannot say that we were being rude ... unless he's calling speaking with sign language rude?
We attempted to get at the bottom of the problem, or his perceived problem, his response was that "the customer is always right" only applies to Whataburger. He said he didn't care who we told because his business would not be hurt.
I see on his facebook site that "God blessed him with a new delivery vehicle!" OMG -- any man who can speak to a group of women the way he spoke to us is definitely not a man of God! In fact that would be a laughable statement when taking into consideration this man had not problem cussing at paying customers!
Another interesting point is that we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. Guess he's only a "man" without an audience.
Not brimming over with customers? Wonder why? Our poor waitress, bless her heart, was almost in tears, was humiliated, and looked as if she wanted to crawl under a rock. In talking with other people since this event yesterday evening, he pulls this on a regular basis.
Don't waste your time going to this restaurant. Even if he doesn't cuss you out and demand that you leave, the food will give you indigestion at best (assuming you can eat it, anyway!)."

"This was some of the best food i have ever tasted. I don't understand why there isn't a line out the door. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. The food was great, service was extraordinary, and the price was a bargain. Everyone needs to go eat in this establishment."
