"This summer my church members of about 60 people and I stayed at this hotel. On check in we had no clean towels in the swimming room. The elevator was broke the whole weekend. I got stuck in it with another couple on the last night there. And the manager told us that we could use the breakfast room to have a late dinner which just consisted of sandwaches, but the clerk told us that we could't because it was late That same 10:30 at night. However we had just got in to the hotel. He said that the lights would wake up the guest. What sense does that make. Our toilet overflowed. I told the man at the counter and he gave us a plunger, which was not our job to do and he got it from another person staying the night. We couldn't get it unpluged so my roommate and I asked for another room. That there was no one on staff to handle plumbing and that It was not his problem. He told us that he the only room he had available was a room with not AC. and there was nothing that he could do to help us. I got up set but my roommate remained calm and agreed to the room with no ac. Then the young man ( who turned out to be an 18 year old boy) looked nervous and decided to come up and look at the toilet to see what he could do. But he new all along that he had another room and tried to mislead us by lieing to us about the room. I appologized to hem for getting up set because he was a child to me, however what I said to his was correct.
No hotel should be with a back up plan just in case a toilet/tub over flows for ever reason. Tenents should be accomodated with in reason because we are paying our money for comfort with in reason. No one wants to be stuck in a room after the toilet has overflowed with floating feces. And then the desk clerks says that he can't help you. The next morning they only have one waffle maker. They runs out of syrup. They did not have enough to serve orange juice. They practically ran out of food. This hotel should be wrote up. We paid a lot of money.
