"The management of the building is terrible. There are problems with everything - security, parking, using the pool, having guests over. The security personnel is rude and not helpful. The rest of the staff can rarely be found. Although the building itself is very pretty and looks very impressive, actual living in the building presents many problems on a daily basis. This building is definitely not an "upscale" or "luxurious" place as it is advertised everywhere. You can find many other places in uptown that will offer a much better level of service and a higher level of respect for its residents than Mercantile is capable of giving. Try Ashton or Mondrian. "
