About Children's Ballet Theater
Founded in 2004, Memphis Children's Ballet Theater and Memphis Youth Music Theater provide ballet classes and dance classes for students from 2.5 years old to 18 years old and adults. We offer ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theater, and lyrical dance instructions to students of all ages. Founded in 2004 by former ballerina Mary Van Dyke, we offer a unique training experience unmatched in the Mid-South. A special syllabus is created specifically for each age group, and each class includes creative movement and fun with props. Our highly acclaimed annual "Nutcracker" performance is a unique performance opportunity for all students.
