"The school is about 10 years behind in their industrial design program. They still teach the “old school” methods (which is nice to know) but not the new ones (ie photoshop rendering, solidworks, etc..) this make the education irrelevant for 2009. Also it currently only has one industrial designer teaching. The class descriptions do not always match the curriculum (example - product design = build an rc boat from given plans or Metal studio = jewelry design) Many of the required department classes are run 1x a year, naturally this creates problems if they are full. Also I feel like the faculty imposes what they want to do onto you for projects and favorites are played quite often. For the price you are better off going somewhere else or just self educating. Don't waste your money here, look into RISDI or UArts or Pratt or Philly U someplace else first. "
