"I've come to know about the Auto Find dealership through the many, positive reviews of their business. I live in Brooklyn and it isn't easy to find a local dealership that's reputable and whose prices are also reasonable. So I drove to their Copiague location. Once there, Auto Find have a serious selection of quality cars, good stock and reasonably priced. We worked with Nick, who wasted no time and showed us a few vehicles that fit the bill. Eventually, the choice fell on a 2001 BMW X5 with less than 60k miles - a very well kept car at a sensible price. Price was firm but Nick worked with us to shave a few dollars from fees and insurance. We had plenty of time and opportunity to drive the car around before making a choice and we were never rushed. We left the dealership feeling good about the choice. I don't feel it's fair to give a rating to the car itself after less than a week driving it, though it looks and drives great so far. "I've engaged the services of Autofind twice in the past three years, and I've yet to be hit with a scam. If anything, this is the most professional dealer in a field where being deceitful and misleading is the norm. The firs time I deal with them I sold a car off because I needed the money quite badly and I got VERY fair treatment at their hands. He told me that he could process my application over the phone and that I should put a $100 completely refundable deposit down on the car i loved because they had a high turnover. The sales man called me back the next day to tell me that he could not get me approved for the car that I wanted. And would not even give me a straight answer on how much I would need for a down payment so i said okay and just asked for my deposit to be reversed back to my debit card. IT WAS NEVER DONE!!! it has been 2 weeks and I still have not gotten my $100 back.
