Excellent from beginning to end! Imaculate hotel

Poorly trained desk staff caused multiple mistakes throughout our stay. Can not recommend.

TLDR; Great place to ignore the climate crisis! Visit at your own peril

Really disappointed given how much we paid the absolute sheer amount of plastic and waste produced at the ritz each day, you'd think climate change wasn't happening based on this hotel. Good place to bury your head in the sand! Sad because lovely property otherwise.

Specifically:
1) plastic water bottles everywhere
2) plastic cups (non recyclable) at pool/beach
3) individually wrapped plastic toiletries
4) plastic straws (sometimes, inconsistent use of paper ones)

And of course there were ZERO recycling bins anywhere on the property for said cups or plastic bottles. They simply rely on underpaid service staff to try and catch every piece of plastic or waste that flies off - wholly inefficient and sad to be forced to throw away recyclable materials

I get they don't need to try very hard given
they're the only hotel on the key. But c'mon this was pathetic - they are not a mom and pop shop, it's the ritz. If they wanted to do their part to help fight climate change they could easily afford to switch to more eco friendly alternatives

Additionally they didn't even ask for feedback with our bill nor do they publish anything to provide transparency. Clearly don't care about their customers feedback or they would :/

Also literally only 1 of the 4 lamps in our room (947) actually worked

It was also impossible to find an Uber and they don't help you source taxis at all, when we called the front desk they just told us to wait or figure it out ourselves. Not helpful in the slightest

El hotel es muy hermoso y limpio las habitaciones muy comodas y brillantes, la comida exquisita fresca y con muy buena calidad .para mi el mejor hotel de miami...lo recomiendo 100%

So disappointed by the hotel quality, it should rank as category 5 not 7.

I really expect more from the Ritz Carlton
If I compare the service here with Cancun
Or Naples or even Sarasota etc...
This place is really under
