We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That's why, at the Schlessman Family YMCA, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. The Y is a membership organization open to all people. Our members enjoy a full service health and wellness facility with cardio, strength, and weight training equipment; an indoor pool, a full court basketball gym, pilates reformer and many other fitness classes including yoga, cycling, and Zumba. (see our fitness class schedule here) The Schlessman Y also has a senior center which includes a fitness facility, social events and fitness classes with the older adult in mind. The Y is a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they'll carry with them throughout their lives. The Y offers swim lessons, youth sports, on-site licensed child care, summer day camp, recreation programs, and many events for the family. Learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, programs at the Y are about building the whole child, from the inside out. The Y is for everyone.
