"I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rendez Vous Cafe. I had dicey service at the bar once, but sitting outside and eating is fabulous. Of four different evening dinners, all were good. I'm going again this week! "

"Looks appealing from the outside. Organic coffee... etc. The place was empty at lunchtime but for 2 patrons near the entrance having a conversation. Walked in and waited at the counter for service. For a minute or so nobody comes to take my order and I decide to use the wait to go to the restroom. I find the restroom locked and return to the empty counter. I look around. The 2 patrons continue to talk for another minute until one of them walks up to me and asks what I want. I ask if I need a restroom key and he responds by asking "Are you a customer?". I say "Yes, that was my intention". I am confused by his behavior and I reply "You saw me waiting at the counter. Why did you not take my order?". He replies "I am the owner and I can do as I wish. He adds sarcastically...Have a great day!" (and shows me the door). Go figure."

"Great place for lunch, so far. I enjoyed their salad w/mixed greens and gorgonzola cheez, roasted nuts and dried cherries w/a refreshing glass of iced tea. Very nice outside seating, actually going there again for lunch today."
