Mark Bromann has over 30 years cumulative experience in the field of fire protection. Following college, his experience in this field has included fire alarm system design, property inspections, system testing, technical advisory assistance for attorneys, hydraulic design for sprinkler systems, fire pump testing, design and review of automatic fire suppression systems, expert witness testimony, education services, and sales for all the above.
Mark has designed every type of automatic fire suppression system in hundreds of applications, including two structures (the DeZwaan Windmill and the 99-story Aon Building) that appear photographed in the World Book Encyclopedia. Other design examples include the Lynfred Winery, Cantigny War Museum, Kentucky Air National Guard, Summerfield Suites Chicago Hotel, the Hollywood Casino, and the Cervantes Convention Center in St. Louis. He won a 1995 Engineering Design award for his design work on the retrofit fire sprinkler system installed in the high-rise Union League Club of Chicago.
